Meet Georgia, Director of Inner Action and an AHPRA registered psychologist with a Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise).
Georgia started Inner Action with a clear intention: to make performance psychology a practical, integrated part of how people train, perform, and navigate life, not just something used when things start to feel difficult.
Georgia has experience across private practice and high-performance environments, including the AFLW, Premier Cricket, and AFL talent pathway programs. She has supported athletes across endurance sports, field sports, artistic and performance domains, as well as leaders, CEOs, executives, artists, musicians, and stage performers working in high-pressure environments where consistency and clarity matter.
Across these contexts, she works with individuals, coaches, teams, and support staff to build the capacity to respond effectively under pressure. Her focus is on helping people develop practical ways of working with their internal experience so they can stay engaged, clear, and committed in the moments that matter most. A core part of her work is helping people strengthen psychological flexibility in performance. This shows up in how they handle pressure, uncertainty, setbacks, and expectations, and how they stay connected to what's important, while still executing at a high level. The goal is not just to understand these processes, but to embed them into training, preparation, and performance environments so they become part of how people actually operate when it counts.
Georgia also works alongside coaches, groups, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate psychological principles into the broader performance environment. This may involve supporting performance planning, shaping communication and team culture, and helping organisations create environments where people can perform at a high level in a sustainable way.
Alongside performance work, she supports individuals with their mental health and wellbeing, working with concerns such as anxiety, stress, OCD, burnout, perfectionism, eating disorders, and life transitions. Georgia is an ANZAED credentialed eating disorder clinician.
Her approach is person-centred, flexible, and responsive, grounded in evidence-based practice and performance psychology principles, with a strong focus on helping people build the ability to respond effectively under pressure and live and perform in line with what matters most to them.
Inner Action acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
